Chops With Fruit Stuffing


  • half-dozen (1/2 in. thick) cut of pork chops
  • one tablespoon of edible fat
  • 1 (6 ounces) package of herb stuffing
  • combine
  • a pair of celery ribs, cut
  • 1 medium tart apple, in the buff and
  • chopped
  • 1 cup dried cherries or cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2/3 cup chicken stock
  • 1/4 cup butter, liquified


during a massive skillet, brown pork chops in oil on each side. In a large bowl, mix the remaining ingredients. Place 1/2 the stuffing mixture in a 3-qt. slow cooker. prime with pork and the remaining stuffing mixture.
